since the very first night spent in my new residence, i've been cataloging the moments before falling asleep and after subsequent waking in photographs. just a habit at first, my daily photo diary has proven that the time before and after sleep reveals the most about myself, whether intentional or not.

days and nights spent in all variations of dress, all levels of intoxication. serene, ecstatic, distressed. moments spent alone, moments before someone enters the room, moments after they've left.

it's strange to me how many nights have passed. the magnitude of photographs is almost embarrassing.

after our first and only 50 degree (indoors) night, babehaus finally broke down and turned up the thermostat. our heater is big and scary like in home alone and i'm foolishly terrified of going down into the basement by myself. but the big, scary furnace has not been enough to warm my perpetually chilled limbs, so i've had to take compensatory measures.
